We have had many phone calls and great praises about your program..everyone enjoyed it, and you, immensely. Thanks for giving us one of the finest programs we have ever had.
Thanks for your terrific presentation. I heard many favorable comments on your talk. You did yourself and others proud.

It was a pleasure to see you again AND to hear your wonderful lectures. I am always learning something new. Toni and I were thrilled upon finding out that our favorite speaker was on board.
It’s such a fun thing to see you full of energy on stage and to listen to all the wonderful music history… It’s fascinating to me
Last night this guy was so infectious and exuberant and so generous with his enthusiasm and his knowledge that I fairly felt intoxicated with pleasure. He was so present and spontaneous, you could call what he delivered as a lot of trivia but it was so potent in its impact that there has got to be some better word for it. He sharpened my senses to the sounds, to the rhythms, the poetry, the inner and outer context of subjects dear to my heart… music, words, the creative process, the mystery (to me) of how an artist functions and communicates.
You did it again–You had the audience mesmerized!! I began to think as I was returning home how much energy and time you had put into your charismatic delivery. Your filing system for all the dates and facts about various artists and composers must be amazingly complicated–and I realize that you pull some of it off the top of your head. Your knowledge of what the instruments are doing in a particular arrangement is what all band leaders have to do. But, it’s great that you are able to explain this to all of us eager listeners! Thank you again.
Just a note to thank you for last night’s lecture at the Beverly Hills Library. I did not expect such a passionate and informative session. It was a helluva night. Thanks again, Jim. You were great!
Thanks for last Thursday at the Beverly Hills Library. Your presentation was superb! I thoroughly enjoyed all the insight that you brought to great American music. I am a big fan of this music and through your efforts (and that of others), you are keeping it alive and thriving. I can’t wait for the January 14th event.
My wife and I can’t thank you enough for the terrific lectures that you presented on our Crystal cruise this week. I have the schedule for your upcoming lectures at the Beverly Hill Public Library and we will try to make at least one of them.
I can say, your audiences love the music, the information and your personality. You have something to make people follow you, and you know what things are in common or differentiate that make people enjoy and remain interested.
